Lomonosov Porcelain was founded in 1744 by Peter the Great's daughter, Empress Elizabeth, Lomonosov Porcelain is one of the oldest of the porcelain manufacturers in Europe. From its first porcelain bear, hand made by the inventor of Russian porcelain, Dmitry Vinogradov, Lomonosov has continued the tradition of creating life through porcelain.
The quality demanded by the Imperial Romanov Family, can still be found two and a half centuries later, where more than 300 different types of figurine are made at the factory for people throughout the world to enjoy. Every one of them is painted. It is the special attention to detail of Lomonosov artists which infuses each figurine with life, soul and individuality.
